ADDISON'S BIRTHDAY PART PICS TO COME

Well I wanted to post Addison's birthday pictures but was pretty sick Wednesday and still am not feeling up to par yet.

Today was officially Addison's 1st birthday, she was born at 325am, 8 lbs 2.3 oz and was 20.75 inches long. I am just so lucky that I have the sweetest, cutest, most amazing daughter in the world. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to share the last year in complete bliss.

She is just starting to grow and blossom full of attitude and starting to really want her independence. Yesterday she wanted nothing to do with us feeding her , she wanted to feed herself or at least try, it was so cute. She also went to town on a cup of ice cream the night before, she was so funny, sticking her face in the cup licking it.

So today although I have not been feeling good we played and she discovered the power button on her new Dora quad she got for her birthday, (thank you mom-mom & pop-pop Pencer). Her face was priceless when that thing took off. She also have been having tons of fun with all of her new toys and gifts that everyone got her. She had a great birthday party. Today she also was funny when she got back-to-back phone calls, the first was Jeffery from Toys r us calling to wish her a happy birthday then sing it to her, her face was so cute, she lit up and started wiggling her little body. I signed her up for the birthday club and didn't even know what it was but then we received a birthday card and coupon then the phone call today, it was too cute.

Second was a phone call from mom-mom & pop-pop Pencer to sing "Happy Birthday" to her today on her birthday since it's a tradition in our family for my mom & dad to call all of us on our birthday's and sing happy birthday to us. My grandparents started it and my mom & dad have carried on the tradition and now Addison has had her 1st of many.

Thank you MiMi Ringer for all you help this past weekend, we appreciated it very much and also thank you aunt Mickey for the beautiful cake and cupcakes you decorated. Also , thanks to Aunt Faye and Uncle Todd, grandpa Joe, uncle Joe, grandpa Jim and Wendy for coming down and visiting all of us, hope you had a good time.

She was standing up holding on to our ottoman wiggling her little butt dancing as they sang.

Words cannot express they joy she has brought to our lives and we are just blessed and grateful for the opportunity to be her parents. Thanks to all that came and shared this special day and milestone with us.
